JFBC

Love one another. Not just romantic love, not just brotherly love, but love even to those that we struggle with loving.

In the spirit of the message, Paula and I came up with a new "habit" if you will. Rather than having several choice words for those we lose our patience with, we will say "love you" and smile (it turns out being a giggle, too). Almost as soon as we left church, on our way to lunch, I came close to saying some of the same old things as someone pulled out in front of me while I was driving. Of course, it was meant to also be humerous, and we got some good laughs out of it, but we decided it might be a way to change the way we tend to think(more times than we want to admit).

So, it happened again, at the infamous T.J. Maxx, buying books for baby - and if you've ever shopped there, you know what I mean. There was a VERY upset woman behind us because we were all being ignored, complaining that the employees really didn't seem to care much.... so, I came real close to joining her. Instead, Paula and I looked at each other about the same time and said "love you" and laughed. It truly turned the outcome of the situation. And although it was very funny, it makes you stop to think. What a great habit to have for our daughter, too!
